  How You Can Serve
   
  Direct Patient Visits:  Provide comfort & companionship, read to patients, be a comforting and supportive presence, participate in the patients hobbies, encourage the patient to tell their life story, provide bereavement for family.
   
  Care-giver Relief:  Provide much needed respite to family care-givers.
   
  Administrative:  Office and staff support.
   
  Arts & Crafts:  Make lap blankets, pillows, flower arrangements, stuffed memorial bears, gift baskets and other creative endeavours.
   
   
  Your Commitment:
   
  Our expectations are flexible. You can commit to whatever makes you comfortable. That might be 1 hour every week, 8 hours the last week of each month or somewhere in between. We fit your schedule into the equation.

  It is easy to get involved! Just call and say that you want to explore the possibility of volunteering. Your call will be directed to someone who can answer your questions and send out an application. You'll then bring the application and meet with the Volunteer Coordinator. Together you will ascertain the best fit for your interests, talents and schedule.
